Sr. Payroll Coordinator

General Summary:               Responsible for all aspects of quality service to Team Members in regards to the payroll process. Contacts and assists Team Members in the process of obtaining information for payroll production and tax related issues; verifies totals, responds to/resolves Team Member questions and problems and delivers quality customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide a high level of customer service to Team Members by answering questions and/or escalating concerns to the payroll Manager.
• Prepare & process BI-weekly payroll.
• Administer wages, salary & garnishments.
• Work cross-functionally with Benefits, HRIS, and Field and Corporate HR Teams to ensure a seamless process.
• Accurately keys all payroll-related data necessary to process and meet schedules and deadlines.
• Process new hires enrollment/termination & all other payroll changes in timely manner.
• Assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures.
• Keeps abreast of the payroll processing system and changes in wage and tax laws.
• Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning payroll.
• Maintains personnel and payroll records, attendance & PTO balances.
• Maintain the accuracy of all payroll data on PeopleSoft.
• Prepare manual checks as needed.
• Generate and interpret payroll records and reports on an as needed basis.
• Other duties as assigned or required.

Other Duties:

• Assist payroll manager with special projects.
• Respond to requests for employment verification.

• PeopleSoft Payroll and PeopleSoft Time and Labor
• ADP Tax Software
• Ability to communicate detailed and sensitive information effectively with all levels in the organization
