The role

As IT Training and Certification specialist you will reports to the Head of the Infrastructure PMO

 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and deliver technical training programs to employees, customers, and partners.
  • Create training materials such as presentations, manuals, and online learning modules.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of training content.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed.
  • Manage the certification process, including registration, scheduling, and tracking.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and technology advancements to ensure training programs remain relevant.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with certification bodies and training providers.
  • Provide ongoing support to learners and certification candidates

 

Qualifications /Skills / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in designing and delivering technical training programs.
  • +3 years of IT Network Engineer experience with Cisco/Meraki/HP/Aruba network infrastructure.
  • Strong networking/security technical skills – experience managing large scale networks including WAN/LAN/WLAN/Security devices and services globally.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to engage learners.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms would be a plus.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Highly organised and analytical mind-set with a clear and consistent programme delivery method
  • Strong educational background, University educated preferred. Professional Programme Management Qualifications are highly desirable
  • Able to meet targets and deadlines and to adapt to changing goals with a can-do attitude
  • Experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced and environment and can deliver results to demanding time scales in an ambiguous environment.
