The role

The role is for a Project Manager who has a Digital, Sales and Marketing background. The Project Manager is responsible for the management of projects in the Sales & Marketing business domain, including the delivery of any IT changes and/or components within that project.  This includes (but not limited to) CRM (MS Dynamics), Call Centre Technologies, Sales Platforms/Applications and all IWG Customer Websites and Applications (across all IWG Brands).

What you’ll need to succeed

We are seeking a mid-level experienced project manager with a background in sales & marketing.

While initially responsible to deliver small enhancements for our sales & marketing teams, the PM will start to support some major transformations with various projects and initiatives.

The PM will concurrently own the delivery of several requests and enhancements at any point of time and would need to demonstrate experience in running with multiple small projects / initiatives together.

It will be an advantage to have worked on multi-faceted CRM applications’ projects for a global business, and if you have Microsoft Dynamics CRM experience (in various roles) then you are likely the person that we are looking forward to meeting with. They will be proactive and take accountability, and adept at communicating their thinking to all levels of the business, from CIO down.

They’ll anticipate business challenges and requirements, be creative in providing tailored solutions, and engage key stakeholders and team members along the way. They’ll be clear on what a ‘great’ outcome looks like, and tireless in delivering that for the business.

  • Good commercial understanding of how to minimise costs/effort whilst delivering risk acceptable and robust solutions.
  • Interpersonal skills and developing relationships with team members and customers.
  • Organizational, analytical, problem-solving and time management skills

Culture

This is a delivery focused role. However, while delivering on time, on budget and to the right quality are core to every project/initiative, we always set out to take it a step further and “understand the content” and deliver solutions. This is core to our culture and approach (to understand, to challenge to push and make things better for our company and our customers).

In order to do that, we expect all team members to have a solid understanding of the IWG business, products, services, processes, people and our customers. This takes time and effort to achieve and it’s never ending (as we are always evolving and improving). Team members who have this knowledge and understanding can deliver solutions, better results, and collaborate with other team members more effectively.

Our culture is to embrace Hybrid Working and Remote Teams - this is nothing new to IWG and we have been enabling flexible working for our teams and customers since the company was created.

We are a multi-cultural environment spanning several management and digital delivery centres around the world (working together with our partners who are equally distributed). Operationally, we span a lot of countries (over 120), different people, different approaches – all linked to the common goal of getting our targets realised and doing it in the best way possible.

KPIs

A results-based role, you and your manager will jointly define a clear set of KPIs along with the mechanisms to monitor those. Initial definitions of KPIs to be refined and agreed with the successful candidate are:

  • Managed project to scope

  • Held people/teams accountable for their deliverables (or actions in the delivery plan)
  • Maintained clear communication during the project (as needed/in the relevant forums)
  • Managed any change requests, risks and issues successfully
  • Delivered on time and on budget (providing progress reports along the way)
  • Delivered to the quality expectations (exceeding targets where possible)
  • Understood the content of the project and demonstrated the ability to lead delivery of the solution (not just meeting delivery dates and tasks)
