The role

As an Infrastructure Project Manager for IWG you will reports to the Head of the Infrastructure PMO

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Infrastructure and Datacenter Projects ensuring assigned projects are delivered on time, in budget and meet the IWG technical and quality standards
  • Responsible for directing the completion of the assigned projects
  • Responsible for planning, execution, monitoring and control of all aspects of the assigned projects to achieve the project objectives within the expected performance targets for time, cost, quality, scope, benefit and risks
  • Coordinating project team members and developing schedules and individual responsibilities
  • Maintaining project timeframes, budgeting, status reports and risk assessments.
  • Leading all of the phases of the projects: initiating, planning, executing, monitoring (and controlling) and closing.
  • Communicating regularly with team members to determine the current status of the projects and detect potential roadblocks that will need to be resolved
  • Communicating with Key Stakeholders updating them on project progress.
  • Ensure that issues that arise during the project execution are resolved effectively in order to keep the project on track

 

Qualifications /Skills / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications (Telecommunications Engineer) or Computer Science.
  • A minimum of 5 years of prior experience in Project management in multinational companies working in complex projects.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to work on and track multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Experience with Azure projects
  • Able to meet targets and deadlines and to adapt to changing goals with a can-do attitude
  • Experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced and environment and can deliver results to demanding time scales in an ambiguous environment. 
  • Used to work under pressure
  • Motivated and ambitious.
  • Flexible working hours essential, working across global time zones and to deadlines
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects at the same time
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to take decisions and work effectively in pressurised conditions

  • Fluency in English
  • High on delivery. Must be prepared to ‘get hands dirty’ and be actively Involved / personally contribute.
