Global Procurement Manager- IT Services


Based: US preferred, or UK/ Europe


Role Summary

This key role in our Procurement team leads information technology procurement activities for 3,400+ locations globally (estimated spend of 50M£). Ensure IT & Voice services ordered and in place are the most reliable, cost and time efficient.  This position continually reviews and evaluates existing and new IT services & providers, associated contracts, facilitates approval and execution of signature documents, and order processing via Project Managers. Our outsourced IT Vendor Management engages this resource to evaluate & approve requests from offices prior to order approval. This role is occasionally engaged to facilitate IT Vendor escalations, ensuring vendors meet negotiated SLA’s associated with service, delivery or billing issues. This is a critical role accountable for managing relationships with our internal stakeholders and our supplier network to ensure we work collaboratively to improve our commercial performance and deliver against strategic objectives.    


Specific accountabilities


  • Administer IT contract process Globally from initiation thru implementation. This includes finding and qualifying suppliers, review, draft, redline and negotiate custom terms conditions & fixed rates for future needs during the committed term. Facilitate contract approval and execution, considering landlord lease end date, bandwidth needs, reference to custom terms & conditions document, including but not limited to RFP, RFQ, NDA, MSA, Amendments, Statements of work, SLA, order documents etc with final input from Legal before submitting for CFO/country manager execution.
  • Actively mitigate risk in collaboration with Legal, by negotiating contractual terms, conditions and ensuring alignment with IWG Custom Terms.
  • Manage multiple contract priorities across various countries and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Expand partnership with IT Service auditing provider to all countries. Meet monthly to manage the relationship and ensure positive return on investment.
  • Work with all internal IWG stakeholders to expand automated invoicing and payment process globally with IT auditing vendor.
  • Work with internal IWG stakeholders to simplify Internet and Telco operations.
  • Track and report on planned and validate achieved savings targets
  • Benchmark spend against companies of like size and ISP competitors to ensure we are leveraging our scale to achieve industry leading performance, whilst continually improving terms and rates.
  • Evaluate spend by service type, explore alternate/lower cost/high quality service type in conjunction with our IT team, evaluate alternate provider options, expense to migrate, return on investment and present to Country Manager/EVP as applicable for approval to further reduce spend when term renewal/rate reduction is not competitive enough.
  • Identify and manage relationships with key suppliers, evaluate performance on a regular basis to ensure that we are getting value for money and supplier performance is in line with our expectations.
  • Drive automation in collaboration with IT and Shared Services.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues at Group, Regional and Country level to ensure Procurement is supporting them to deliver against their business plans.



  1. Bachelor degree in Business, Engineering on related discipline
  2. 10+ year business experience, with 2+ years working in procurement function on IT Services
  3. Thorough understanding of IT services and procurement best practices
  4. Strong Business Acumen and analytical skills
  5. Strong organisation, time and project management skills
  6. Microsoft Suite Competency: Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
