Position summary

The primary responsibility of the Executive Vice President is to maximize sales and revenue, ultimately driving profitability in a geographic Region.  The overall accountability is to work proactively with a sales team and center operational teams to achieve targeted KPIs in the Region.  The EVP directly supervises a team of Area Vice Presidents in the Region. This position requires strong business acumen, combined with great leadership and the ability to thrive under pressure.  Must have the ability to lead, and effectively communicate. This role will be part of the North America Leadership team, reporting to the President of North America.

 

Responsibilities

  • Devise and deliver a dynamic sales strategy to achieve consistent growth.
  • Delivers the profit and revenue targeted in the Region’s business plans.
  • Personally, deliver sales through the development of key senior relationships with the largest Enterprise customers.
  • Recruit and motivate a World class, winning team.
  • Champion a culture of personal accountability and delivery. Set clear expectations for a global team and coach and develop people to always achieve targets.
  • Work with operations teams to ensure we deliver outstanding customer service in all customer interactions to drive renewals and incremental business.
  • Provides leadership on pricing and sales volume in the Region by driving awareness of revenue targets and by measuring and communicating results.
  • Creates and closes new business and grows revenue from existing clients.
  • Recruits, trains, develops, manages, leads, and measures productivity of the Regional Teams
  • Partners with the global sales team to penetrate and close new global business as required.
  • Develops and refines new sales channels in the Region.
  • Grows the number of leads generated in the Region by the sales team through networking, broker relations and other sales activities.
  • Drives the conversion of leads and enquiries in the Region into profitable sales.
  • Proactively seeks understanding of prospective clients’ needs and assures they are being satisfied from the first sales interaction through the transition to usage of the Company’s products and services.
  • Develops the Region’s overall business plans based on the Company’s strategic objectives.
  • Provides sales mentoring and development of all General Managers to continually raise the level of sales acumen within the Company.
  • Ensures a visible leadership presence in the Region.
  • Review business/sales results, league tables and manages overall performance
  • Ensure full use and functionally of the CRM system
  • Orchestrate the business in a manner consistent with company operational standards and brand promise. Utilize all of the Corporate resources.
  • Develop and drive the real estate broker strategy for global customers.
  • Ensure we keep ahead of the competition, brining insights, and innovation back to IWG.
  • Ensure we have a winning proposition that means we consistently beat our competitors.
  • Be a brand ambassador and a subject matter expert on the benefits of flexible working.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each of our brands to demonstrate the advantages of a multi-brand approach.
  • Implement best practice to maximise forecasting accuracy and pipeline conversion.

 

Professional Skills & Experience

  • World class leader with an outstanding track record of building a team and consistently growing sales revenue.
  • Has set and executed a sales strategy that has delivered market leading growth.
  • Leads by example and has developed a culture of personal accountability with a strong loyalty to the team.
  • Robustly manages performance and holds people to account.
  • Develops strong cross functional relationships.
  • Previously operated as part of the sales leadership team and made significant contributions to the success of the team.
  • End-to-end experience with negotiating and closing business-to-business deals.
  • Proven ability to recruit, train, develop, manage, lead and measure productivity of sales teams.
  • Absolute commitment to high ethics and integrity.
  • Strong presenter, planner, time manager, and aggressive producer who knows how to set priorities and maintain high quality standards
  • B-to-B experience required
  • PC literate
  • Regional travel is required
  • Corporate Real Estate experience a strong advantage but not essential.
  • Proven track record of developing sales pipelines from scratch and converting leads to sales.
  • Highly competitive with a strong desire to win.
  • Strong customer focus, able to create win-win scenarios.
  • Pro-active and hands on individual who takes ownership and responsibility for completing tasks.
  • Works at pace and able to cope with ambiguity and change.
  • Equally comfortable working on planning and strategy or doing hands-on delivery.
  • Highly credible and strong track record of influencing at C-level. Demonstrable track record of winning large enterprise accounts.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative, a strong team player.
  • Strong analytics skills with the ability to analyse data to drive strategic decisions
  • Good knowledge of Salesforce reporting tools and dashboards.
  • Preferential consideration will be given to candidates based in Canada
