Role Summary
The QA, Risk & Compliance Senior Analyst supports the Process Governance Tower in executing the Quality Assurance, Risk Monitoring, and Compliance validation framework across Finance Operations (R2R, FP&A, Tax & Statutory).
The role acts as part of the second line of defense within Finance Operations, ensuring:
•Transaction accuracy and integrity
•SLA/KPI adherence
•Control compliance
•Policy adherence
•Risk identification and escalation
•Reduction of repeat errors
The Senior Analyst performs structured QA reviews, risk validation, trend analysis, and supports audit readiness across the GSC.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
1. Quality Assurance Execution
• Perform risk-based QA sampling and deep-dive transaction reviews.
• Validate compliance with:
o Process documentation
o Internal controls
o SLAs
o Global finance policies
• Assess transaction accuracy across R2R, FP&A, Tax & Statutory.
• Document findings clearly and objectively.
• Participate in calibration sessions to ensure scoring consistency.
2. Risk Monitoring and Validation Control
• Identify control breakdowns and systemic weaknesses.
• Validate key operational controls (journal reviews, vendor master controls, revenue controls, etc.).
• Maintain QA findings tracker and risk logs.
• Support maintenance of Risk & Control Matrix (RCM).
• Escalate high-risk findings to QA Manager with impact assessment.
3. Error Trend and Data Analysis
• Analyze recurring error patterns and SLA breaches.
• Build and update:
o Accuracy scorecards
o Error recurrence reports
o Risk dashboards
• Provide data insights to support governance reporting.
• Support preparation of monthly QA & Risk packs.
4. Root Cause and Corrective Action Tracking
• Participate in structured root cause analysis sessions.
• Track corrective and preventive action plans.
• Monitor closure timelines and validate effectiveness of remediation.
• Follow up with process owners on repeat findings.
5. Compliance and Audit Support
• Ensure QA documentation is audit-ready.
• Support internal and external audit sample validation.
• Provide documentation and evidence upon request.
• Assist in tracking audit action plans to closure.
• Promote awareness of policy and control adherence within towers.
6. Process Improvement Support
• Recommend preventive controls or automation opportunities.
• Highlight control gaps during transitions or system changes.
• Support embedding QA checkpoints in new processes or migrations.

Qualifications and Experience
• 4–7 years’ experience in Finance Shared Services / GSC
• Background in R2R, Tax, Statutory, FP&A, Internal Controls, Risk, or Audit
• Understanding of internal controls and finance policies
• Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., D365, SAP, Oracle)
• Strong Excel / data analysis capability
• Experience supporting audits is preferred Core Competencies
